WEEK 5~!

when: February 2nd-3rd 2012

who: -

what: my A1 test card and my Baek Ji Young’s That Woman translation on F4 papers

why: 2 times in a row! i got to auditioning for my school’s art show and A1 test at Goethe Institut

how: first im gonna talk about the That Woman translation that i made by hand by myself until late at night (about 1 AM when its finally finished -.-). there was this audition in my school to participate in my school’s art show in the mid February, i think ._. and because I AM SO IN LOVE WITH SECRET GARDEN, i decided to sing the OST of that awesome drama, That Woman by Baek Ji Young.

BUT i thought only singing that Korean song would be really confusing to the audiences and they’d be ended up not knowing anything about the song. sooooo i had this idea about making a translation for the sake of their understandment(?) AND it was actually a great idea! i felt a bit uneasy because the night before (when i made the script) i got a really hard time flipping the papers.

i panicked! then had the idea of putting some post-its in the corner so it became easier to flip -.- i only practiced once with the script so i once again felt really nervous that i wouldnt concentrate in the song enough. but Alhamdulillah it went kinda well xD will upload the video soon i think ;) and the comments from the judges also made me feel relieved xD Thank God for helping me!

and then, its time for me to tell you how the A1 (read: A-eins) test happened! me and my 30 other friends from my school already practiced every after school for this test. fyi, if i pass this test with the almost perfect score, i can go Germany for 3 weeks! HOW AWESOME IS THAT????

okay, so the test was split to 2 categories: written and speaking. and to be specific written contains hören (listening), lessen (reading) and schreiben (writing). the hören was okay at first, but in Teil 2 (idk, part 2?) i could barely hear what exactly theyre talking about -___- but luckily it was easier than the practice xD haha.

but one thing that disappointed me was that i was told that the class in Goethe would be really cold so i was waiting for the coldness but it seemd like didnt appear T-T so jealous of the class next to mine that was so cold my friend could be frozen -.-

and then the second test is Sprechen (speaking). we had to introduce ourselves (name, age, nationality, address, languages, school, hobby) i had no problem at this. it was quite smooth actually and i said i can speak Korean a little and the teacher said “annyeonghaseyo” to me! LOLOLOL and i said “annyeonghaseyo” back with a little bow (korean culture has grown on me i think xD).

after that we were given a card for each person and we were told to make a question with the word on the card. i got “sportlehrer/sportlehrerin” (sport teacher) so i asked “wer ist deine sportlehrerin?” (who is your sport teacher? *female) yeah it went kinda like that.

then we were given a card with a picture we had to make an imperative from the pic. i got orangensaft! (orange juice) so i went “trinkst das orangensaft bitte” (please drink that orange juice) but i think the “trinkst” was wrong and the artikel (das) was also wrong. it should be “der” but they said it was okay so i felt relieved.

OH! one cracked up moment when my friend was asked to buy a chocolate and she said “SUPER!” LOLOLOL HOW COULD YOU SAID THAT? xD anyway, it was a really fun day!

still curious about the result of both tests. hope i get to be on the art show and be able to go to Germany xD amen!!!!
